UNSW offers a limited range of scholarships for both domestic and international students undertaking study at UNSW. Scholarships range from annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs to travel scholarships and supplements. Information on these scholarships can be found on the UNSW Scholarships website.

UNSW does offer a number of full scholarships for Research Students but these are highly competitive and are usually only given to outstanding applicants with research experience and at least 1 or 2 publications in peer reviewed journals of good standing. Prospective students should visit the UNSW Graduate Research School Scholarship website for further information and application deadlines.

Prospective students should also research external scholarships offered by the government or other international organisations that might be available. A list of these can be found below under the relevant tabs. Prospective international students are also advised to contact their closest Australian Consulate to find out about scholarships that might be available to them.
